Arthur Palhano, born in Rio de Janeiro, RJ, in 1996, currentlylives and works in Sao Paulo, SP. Both gesture and the chosen tools to depict his poetic imagerydemand a negotiation between what is presented as theforeground and background of the painting, as their depths areexcavated. His production is closely related to the desire forexpenditure, revelation, and investigation of these multiplelayers-both material and historical-involved in an artisticprocess that exalts, above all, an economy of matter whereeverything matters.
